Shipping Methods

Generally, we ship everything by the United States Postal Service, domestically and internationally.
If you'd like your purchases to be shipped a different way, we are more than happy to do that as long as you agree to pay the costs involved. In our experience, the USPS is a more expedient method of shipping as well as being more cost-effective. In the US, coast-to-coast, the USPS First Class Mail service is faster than UPS Ground! (UPS Ground takes about a week, the USPS takes about 3 days and costs much less!)

Shipping Costs

We keep our shipping costs very reasonable.
We do not price our shipping costs to be a "profit center" for us as some guitar parts shippers do.
We believe in full disclosure as well.
The shipping cost that you pay includes:

• the actual cost that the USPS charges us
• the cost of the shipping materials (box, label, packing materials)
• the labor involved to pay an employee to drive your package to the post office for mailing

Even with all of those shipping-related expenses, we still charge less for shipping than 95% of our competitors.
We are happy to combine items that you purchase to save you money. When you make your purchases, shipping and sales tax (if you live in Ohio) are added to the total.

Ship Times

Parts and stock pickups are usually shipped within 24 hours of being ordered/paid for.
Custom-built harnesses and custom-built pickups are usually shipped within 7 days of receiving your order/payment however, we reserve the right to adjust that depending on our shop workload on the date you place your order.
Actual ship/transit time is determined by the shipper (USPS). Generally, transit time in the US, coast-to-coast, is about 3 to 4 days. International ship time, using USPS First Class International Mail, is about 7 to 10 days. If your internationally-shipped package is chosen for inspection by your country's customs office, it could be delayed an additional number of days. We have no control over that.

Tracking

Part of the reason that our shipping costs to you are low is that we do not automatically supply tracking with each and every order.
DOMESTIC TRACKING: If you would like tracking on your package, we are more than happy to provide it for you. Domestically, the additional charge is $1.
INTERNATIONAL TRACKING: If you would like tracking on your international shipment, the cost is an additional $30USD. This is the actual amount charged for that service to us by the USPS. Please let us know that you'd like tracking at the time of your purchase and we can send you a PayPal invoice for the additional amount.
